The Mornington Peninsula Wine Lovers tour, is an adventure filled day that includes tasting wines from the region's finest producers, from Main Ridge to Moorooduc while hearing stories from vintages past. Your guide, Arthur O'Bryan, knows many of the key winemakers in the region. He and his winemaker wife, Geraldine McFaul have worked in the Mornington Peninsula for over twenty-five-years. She is the celebrated winemaker at Rare Hare, Elgee Park, and Baillieu Vineyard. Her delicious sparkling cuvée is served with regional cheeses and olives at a seaside picnic to kick-start a day visiting four or more winemakers, vignerons and cellar doors around Western Port and Red Hill where the warm welcomes are only bettered by the stunning wines.
Arthur is a colourful, well-connected local, passionate about the Mornington Peninsula, with encyclopaedic knowledge of the region's wines. He greets you at your pick-up location with fresh strawberries to calibrate your palate for the Pinot Noirs ahead. A two-course lunch and complimentary glass of wine is served at the region's best casual restaurant to break up a day filled with great wine and memorable experiences.
