This Mornington Peninsula Art and Wine tour is not your typical gallery experience, it’s a tour to breathe fresh air into a living art studio fuelled by nature, wine, and people. The Mornington Peninsula is a sculpture Mecca and McClelland Gallery+Sculpture Park is a vast landscape with an eclectic permanent collection to explore. Here we begin with a glass of sparkling wine before wandering around the giants of art. We then venture south to a wine tasting at Yabby Lake and the Kirby family’s indoor/outdoor art collection. Point Leo Estate follows with a world-class array of sculptures including over fifty works by local and international artists. Valued at over $70million, this is the largest privately-owned Sculpture Park in Australia and sits alongside a rare few similar outdoor galleries across the globe. After a two-course lunch, Montalto Vineyard offers fine wine and an ocean breeze to explore local sculptures across the vineyard. We then head to the artists’ hub, Studio and Co. to watch talented artisians at work. Our day ends tasting wines at the striking Jackalope Hotel where cutting edge art and design merge to stimulate conversation.
We tour in a luxurious Mercedes Benz, enjoying a morning feast with sparkling wine, exclusive access to all wineries and galleries with the exception of Pt Leo Estate where a $10 per person fee applies.
Full-day wine and art tour includes everything listed
